I am one of those people lucky enough to know and have 2 families. One Biological and one Adoptive.

First, My adoptive family, Brendan and Kay. They met me when I was only 2 days old. Or maybe three, but no reason to quibble over a day. They are wonderful people. They helped me cope with my disabilities including MS and Bi-polar. They thought me everything I know. They took me on trips to europe or around the united states regualary. They also taught me to read and write when teachers doubted I could. THey have put up with a lot, but are still willing to take me as i am and help out when I need it.

Then there is My biological family. I have a Mother, B1,two sisters, A,B2, and two brothers, M and J. I am using only initials as I don’t have there permission to use their names. This family, Like a rose is a bit thorny. I love all of them, as they were willing to take me in, but we will never be close. B1 and I have had a few fights that I came out on the loosing end of, and our ties were cut. However, I hope this is temporary as I do care about them. They ARE family after all.
